This project selects the Chinese community studying abroad to explore how the past between the group and the individual has changed, and the “time” of itself “overseas” has become a medium for exploring the identity construction of the individual, globalization and cultural dispersion in modern society.

The organized lines of movement are used as visual elements for the project’s sound visualization. It modified and recreated the artist’s source code, adding sound interaction and more random effects, as well as the fact that the sound of the picture would clear up to a certain point and produce a new picture.
As new discourse enters the space, influencing and overwriting previously generated images, images from the past are not only unintentionally deleted, but also intentionally redesigned by participants - as they discover temporal imprints that they can change and influence others with their own voices.
